Aspects of Preterism
William B. Chalfant examines the history and teachings of preterism—the interpretation that places the fulfillment of many or all biblical prophecies in the past, particularly the first century.
Subtitled A Study of an Aberrant View of Prophecy, this book presents a critical examination of preterism using the teachings of preterists themselves. Chalfant explores its implications for understanding the book of Revelation and the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The book also discusses the spread of preterits teaching across Christian denominations, including its influence within Apostolic Pentecostal circles. It provides pastors, teachers, and Bible students with a resource for studying the controversy surrounding preterism and the interpretation of biblical prophecy.
