was not born or raised in Pentecost. In 1955, he repented of his sins, was baptized in Jesus’ name, and was filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of 15. He wholeheartedly embraced the Apostolic Pentecostal life as taught by his pastor, J.E. Rode. He worked faithfully with Bro. Rode in Modesto, California, for four years until God opened the door to enter full-time ministry in 1960. From that time until now, he has raised two sons, pastored a total of 44 and one-half years, and evangelized 12 years. He has four grandsons and two granddaughters.
At this point in my life, at age 77, in 2017, I have been in the ministry for 57 years. The purpose of this book is to help people on the road of life. I thank God for this Pentecostal message of Acts 2:38, the oneness of God, holiness within, holiness without, and separation from the world. I thank Him every day for this revelation. We can do all the above, and to be saved we must. After we have obeyed Acts 2:38 and are really living for God, we still have to live in this life. We have to cope with this life. The Bible says, “He that endureth to the end the same shall be saved.” So the purpose of this book is to help Apostolic Jesus Name people on the road called Life.
This book is to help Apostolic Saints deal with everyday living. As the apostle Paul said, “…that which cometh upon me daily.” It’s called life. I hope these lessons bless you as you take this journey.
The purpose of this writing is to provide seed thoughts. It is simple points and scriptures to consider regarding inward and outward holiness and separation from the world. Holiness never ends. May we take these principles and apply them to our lives.
