Pastor Bill Pitman was born in 1962. He was raised all his life in a Pentecostal home in Beaumont Texas. In 1986 at the age of 24 he received the gift of the Holy Ghost in Vidor Texas at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church under the ministry of Pastor Steve McMullen. Three years later in 1989 he felt a call to preach. For several years he was honored to serve as a full-time evangelist, while also periodically serving as an on-staff ministerial assistant for three different churches in Texas. In 2004 he assumed the pastorate in Forest Mississippi where he has now been currently serving the last 18 years. In 1986 he was blessed with the privilege of marrying his childhood friend and sweetheart Kathy Smith. Bill and Kathy are blessed with two beautiful children. Their son Ryan was born in 1999, and daughter Jadeyn in 2004. They are the joy of their life.
